The Coronavirus is presenting many challenges, risks and worries across the world.
Safespots recognises the risks that self isolation poses to victims of domestic abuse and the prospect of further lock down will be an incredibly concerning time for many in our community.
At Safespots, we remain committed to providing support to victims of abuse. We also recognise the risk to those attending the centre and our staff and volunteers at this difficult time. We are reviewing the situation daily and will remain open for as long as it is safe for us to do so. This is a very dynamic situation so this may change over the forthcoming days or weeks. We will of course switch to a remote form of support should the need to close the centre arise.
Daily updates will be made via our facebook and twitter accounts following a review of current circumstances. We ask that if you have symptoms of the coronavirus that you don’t attend the centre but rather contact us on 07873 889637 for support.
This is an incredibly difficult time but we want to assure you that we will continue to offer support to those who need it tk the best of our ability.
